Managing Your Child’s Online World

November 8th, 2009 admin No comments

Sometimes, children are as comfortable in a computer based environment as they are in the world of reality. Every family is acquainted with the humiliation of having to call in the resident ten-year-old to set up the DVD player or ask a seven-year-old grandson how to set up an email account. Unfortunately, such children are wide open to the dangers of accessing the murky, subversive and prurient content that populates the internet.

“Hey, Mom, I’m just going to do my homework!” Sounds harmless and plausible enough, right? What if he (or she) is not ‘just going to do homework?’ What if the next image that greets your child’s eyes on a computer screen is a perverted, sickening, violent rape scene perpetrated during street gang warfare to entertain an audience of cocaine addicted spectators? Is that okay? No!

What are you doing to stop it?!

Children on the Internet require supervision, just like their ride to school or their extra curriculum activities, or their health and diet. They may well be computer literate and in every sense of the word a sensible child. That does not mean they will not access unsuitable websitesif they think they can do it undetected. So what do we do to implement a program of control? We install parental software; that is what we do.

With good parental control software, you can effectively block pornography and undesirable content with a package that allows complete control and enables you to specify the kind of access suitable for each family member. You may decide that your seventeen-year-old son does not require the same level of supervision as your nine-year-old daughter and if that is the case, you can make changes to access, via individual passwords, managing an appropriate platform of control for every member of the family. Limit time online in the case of very young children and always place the computer where you can monitor what is being viewed.

With free parental software trials available there is no excuse for not taking control of what your young family is viewing via a computer screen. Internet control has never been more attainable, nor has it ever been as necessary as now, when our computers are gateways to inappropriate, corrupt environments that pose a threat to our children’s mental and emotional well being.

Take a positive step in the right direction today to ensure a safe and secure online world for your children. Try out a quality web filter that will analyse and block sites to ensure that only approved and harmless content arrives on your child’s desk.

Learn more about how to protect your children online with parental software.

With Parental Controls installed, children are blocked from entering questionable web sites, even when you are not around.

Managing Your Website Development ?eight Easy Steps to Project Management

November 7th, 2009 admin No comments

Managing your website development need not cause you sleepless nights providing you learn the secrets of successful project management. Perform the best practices in project management and give your project the best chance of success.

Define objectives

Objectives guide everyone on the project to your final goals. Are your objectives to sell your product online, to provide customer support, to promote investor relations? Carefully decide and clearly document your objectives.

Decide the critical success factors ?the things at the end of the project which tell you if you’ve been successful. Make them measurable so you know if you’ve achieved them. For example, the website development should result in an increase in online sales of 25% by year end.

Stakeholder analysis

A stakeholder is someone with an interest in your project’s success (or failure). Decide who they are and whether they support your project. Perform stakeholder analysis by classifying them (high or low) according to how motivated they are in helping (or blocking) your project and how influential (high or low) they are.

Highly influential and supportive people are your allies. Gain their support whenever you can. Aim to reduce the influence of people who are both highly influential and against your project as these people could act to damage your project.

During your stakeholder analysis, draw up strategies for dealing with each group of stakeholders.

Define deliverables

Deliverables are tangible things produced during the project. Talk with key stakeholders to help define deliverables. Will your website design include web page layouts and sitemap for use by the programming team? What is the content for each page? Write all this down.

Key stakeholders must review and agree the deliverables accurately reflect what they expect to be delivered.

Project planning

Define how you will arrive at your objectives. This involves planning how many people, resources and budget are required. If delivering this in house, decide what activities are required to produce each deliverable.

For example, you might decide a web designer will develop page layouts and navigation diagrams. You might decide the marketing team will supply all product details and photographs. You might decide the finance manager will set up merchant and payment gateway accounts to enable e-commerce transactions via your website. If outsourcing work, specify exactly what the sub-contractor should deliver.

Estimate the time and effort required for each activity and decide realistic schedules and budget. Ensure key stakeholders review and agree the plan and budget.

Communication planning

Hold a kick off meeting with the team and explain the plan. Ensure everyone knows exactly what the schedule is, and what is expected of them.

For example, the web designer needs to know that he is to produce page layouts and navigation diagrams based upon the marketing manager’s requirements. He needs to know his expected start and end times.

Share your project communication plan with the team. This should include details of report templates, frequency of reporting and meetings, and details of how conflicts between teams and their members will be resolved.

Project tracking

Constant monitoring of variations between actual and planned cost, schedule and scope is required. Report variations to key stakeholders and take corrective actions if variations occur. To get a project back on track you will need to juggle cost, scope and schedule.

Suppose your programmer hits technical problems which threaten to delay the project. You might recover time by re-organising or shortening remaining tasks. If that’s not possible, you might consider increasing the budget to employ an additional programmer, or consider reducing the scope in other areas.

Be aware that any adjustments you make to the plan might affect the quality of deliverables. If you need to increase the budget, seek approval from the project sponsor.

Change management

Once started, all projects change. Decide a simple change strategy with key stakeholders. This could be a committee which decides to accept or reject changes which comprises of you and one or more key stakeholders.

Assess the impact of each change on scope, cost and schedule. Decide to accept or reject the change. Be aware that the more changes you accept the less chance you have of completing the project on time and within budget unless you reduce scope in other areas.

Suppose the marketing manager wants to add a popup window to display full size photographs of products. Assess the impact of this change. You might need to remove some remaining tasks to include this change and stay within budget. Or, it might be impossible to include the change without increasing the budget or schedule.

Don’t blindly accept changes without assessing the impact or your project will overrun.

Risk management

Risks are events which can adversely affect the success of the project. Identify risks to a project early. Decide if each risk is likely or unlikely to occur. Decide if its impact on the project is high or low.

Risks that are likely to occur and have high impact are the severest risks. High impact but unlikely risks, or low impact but likely risks pose a medium threat. Unlikely and low impact risks pose the least threat.

Create a mitigation plan of the actions necessary to reduce the impact if the risk occurs. Start with the severest risks first, then deal with the medium risks. Regularly review risks. Add new ones if they occur.

Suppose the marketing manager cannot decide what he wants from the website. Without knowing what the marketing manager wants, the team cannot deliver a website to meet his expectations. You assess this risk as highly likely to occur and having high impact. Your mitigation plan might be that the web designer develops page layouts to be reviewed by the manager early in the project.

Summary

Performing best practices in project management will give your website development project the best chance of success.

Microsoft Exchange – the Greatest Email on Earth for Your Business

October 19th, 2009 admin No comments

Microsoft Exchange is one of Microsoft’s combination servers which envelopes all services one would need into one convenient package: e-mail, scheduling, messaging and data storage. Rebranded Microsoft Outlook in 1997, Microsoft Exchange now uses a variety of clients and enables users to keep up with their email in a variety of device settings.

Microsoft exchange is now used on devices such as cell phones and PDA Smart phones; giving the user computers feel away from home. The service is also available to other computer systems such as Apple Macintosh, therefore not leaving any stone unturned when it comes to versatility of the program.

Now, Microsoft Exchange enables users to have access to anti-virus and anti-spyware programming in a multitude of settings. Users are also protected by an anti-spam program, which protects them from inbox flooding attacks as well as email takeovers by spammers.

Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Outlook are tools used by 90% of the business people; it is an everyday tool, and it brings functionality into the table.

Overall, when using Microsoft Exchange, one is using one of the most well programmed and beneficial email and scheduling programs available today. With all of the protection services, the user may check email and schedule meetings with confidence and without problematic spyware and spam issues plagued by other email clients. Also giving the user the option of an Intelligent Message Filter, which is an add-on that allows the user to block incoming messages or direct them to the “Junk E-Mail” folder in their Microsoft Outlook program.

How to Secure Your Wireless Network

September 24th, 2009 admin No comments

Network Authentication Process

The process of a client associating and authenticating to an access point is standard. Should shared key authentication be selected at the client, there are additional packets sent confirming the keys authenticity.

The following describes EAP network authentication.

 1. Client sends probe to all access points

 2. Access point sends information frame with data rate etc

 3. Client selects nearest matching access point

 4. Client scans access point in order of 802.11a, 802.11b then 802.11g

 5. Data rate is selected

 6. Client associates to access point with SSID

 7. With EAP network authentication the client authenticates with RADIUS server

Open Authentication

This type of security assigns a string to an access point or several access points defining a logical segmented wireless network known as a service set identifier (SSID). The client can’t associate with an access point unless it is configured with that SSID. Associating with the network is as easy as determining the SSID from any client on the network. The access point can be configured to not broadcast the SSID improving security somewhat. Most companies will implement static or dynamic keys to supplement security of SSID.

Static WEP keys

Configuring your client adapter with a static wired equivalency private (WEP) key improves the security of your wireless transmissions. The access point is configured with the same 40 bit or 128 bit WEP key and during association those encrypted keys are compared. The issue is hackers can intercept wireless packets and decode your WEP key.

Dynamic WEP keys (WPA)

The deployment of dynamic encrypted WEP keys per session strengthens security with a hash algorithm that generates new key pairs at specific intervals making spoofing much more difficult. The protocol standard includes 802.1x authentication methods with TKIP and MIC encryption. Authentication between the wireless client and authentication RADIUS server allows for dynamic administration of security. It should be mentioned that each authentication type will specify Windows platform support. An example is PEAP which requires Windows XP with service pack 2, Windows 2000 with SP4 or Windows 2003 at each client.

The 802.1x standard is an authentication standard with per user and per session encryption with these supported EAP types: EAP-TLS, LEAP, PEAP, EAP-FAST, EAP-TTLS and EAP-SIM. User network authentication credentials have nothing to do with the client computer configuration. Any loss of computer equipment doesn’t affect security. The encryption process is handled with TKIP an enhanced encryption standard improving WEP encryption with per packet key hashing (PPK), message integrity checking (MIC) and broadcast key rotation. The protocol uses 128 bit keys for encrypting data and 64 bit keys for authentication. The transmitter adds some bytes or MIC to a packet before encrypting it and the receiver decrypts and verifies the MIC. Broadcast key rotation will rotate unicast and broadcast keys at specific intervals. Fast reconnect is a WPA feature that is available allowing employees to roam without having to re-authenticate with the RADIUS server should they change floors or rooms. The client username and password is cached with the RADIUS server for a specified period.

EAP-FAST

 • Implements symmetric key algorithm to build secure tunnel

 • Client and RADIUS server side mutual authentication

 • Client sends username and password credential in secure tunnel

EAP-TLS

 • SSL v3 builds an encrypted tunnel

 • Client side and RADIUS server side assigned PKI certificates with mutual  authentication

 • Dynamic per client per session keys used to encrypt data

Protected EAP (PEAP)

 • Implemented at Windows clients with any EAP authentication method

 • Server side RADIUS server authentication with root CA digital certificate

 • Client side authentication with RADIUS server from Microsoft MS-CHAP v2 client with  username and   password encrypted credentials

Wireless Client EAP Network Authentication Process

 1. Client associates with access point

 2. Access point allows 802.1x traffic

 3. Client authenticates RADIUS server certificate

 4. RADIUS server sends username with password encrypted request to client

 5. Client sends username with password encrypted to RADIUS server

 6. RADIUS server and client derive WEP key. RADIUS server sends WEP key to  access point

 7. Access point encrypts 128 bit broadcast key with that dynamic session key. Sends to client.

 8. Client and access point use session key to encrypt/decrypt packets

WPA-PSK

WPA pre-shared keys use some features of static WEP keys and dynamic key protocols. Each client and access point is configured with a specific static passcode. The passcode generates keys that TKIP uses to encrypt data per session. The passcode should be at least 27 characters to defend against dictionary attacks.

WPA2

The WPA2 standard implements the WPA authentication methods with Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). This encryption method is deployed with government implementations etc. where the most stringent security must be implemented.

Application Layer Passcode

SSG uses a passcode at the application layer. Client can’t authenticate unless they know the passcode. SSG is implemented in public places such as hotels where the client pays for the password allowing access to the network.

VLAN Assignments

As noted companies will deploy access points with SSID assignments that define logical wireless networks. The access point SSID will then be mapped to a VLAN on the wired network that segments traffic from specific groups as they would with the conventional wired network. Wireless deployments with multiple VLANs will then configure 802.1q or ISL Trunking between access point and Ethernet switch.

Miscellaneous Settings

  • Turn Microsoft File Sharing OFF
  • Implement AntiVirus Software and Firewall
  • Install your company VPN client
  • Turn OFF Auto Connect to any wireless network
  • Never use AdHoc Mode – this allows unknown laptops to connect
  • Avoid signal overrun with a good site survey
  • Use minimal transmit power setting

Anti Theft Option

Some access points have an anti theft option available using padlock and cabling to secure equipment while deployed in public places. This is a key feature with public implementations where access points can be stolen or there is some reason why they must be mounted below the ceiling.

Security Attacks

• Wireless packet sniffers will captures, decode and analyzes packets sent between the client computer and access points. The purpose is to decode security information.

• Dictionary attacks attempt to determine the decryption key configured on the wireless network using a list or dictionary with thousands of typical passcode phrases. The hacker captures information from the authentication process and scans each dictionary word against the password until a match is found.

• The specific mode assigned each wireless client affects security. Ad Hoc mode is the least  secure option with no access point authentication. Each computer on the network can send information to an Ad Hoc neighbor computer. Select infrastructure mode where available.

• IP spoofing is a common network attack involving faking or replacing the source IP address of each packet. The network device thinks its communicating with an approved computer.

• SNMP is sometimes a source of compromised security. Implement SNMP v3 with complex community strings.

What Traffic Should You Monitor on Your Network

August 5th, 2009 admin No comments

With the increased use of technology and more companies including Internet connectivity in their overall LAN structure, network monitoring software and tools have become a viable and important part of any network strategy. Monitoring network traffic can help network administrators properly decide on bandwidth usage and need, software or hardware down time, and suspicious activity from outside intruders as well as within the local network.

The importance of business networks has increased with the steady flow of better technology and Internet usability. For network administrators, this leaves an increasing need to safely monitor the corporate network twenty four hours a day, every day of the week. A good network monitoring software needs to be reliable and consistently checking network outages throughout the day to alert key personnel if issues arise.

Monitoring network traffic is a vague term, so network administrators should be clear on what type of activity should be watched. Overall, a network monitoring software should determine who and what type of traffic is being used on the corporate LAN. It is also important to know if any of the trusted users of a network are misusing their intended rights, or if they are attempting to gain rights to a restricted area.

Increased users on a network take a toll on bandwidth. With a large growing company, network monitoring systems can watch the usable bandwidth and help an administrator decide when increased bandwidth will be needed. If your users start receiving constant time outs and slow responses, productivity will drop. Although a slow network is not down, the degradation of productivity ultimately affects a corporation’s revenue.

Server up time or database efficiency is a primary importance in network monitoring. A good network monitoring tool can help you watch critical components of business infrastructure such as database operability. Poor database speed and resources can slow down your user’s performance and possibly affect data reliability. Network monitoring can watch key services to detect when problems occur or if there is a need to upgrade hardware.

Servers Alive by Woodstone can help you monitor all the mentioned traffic and issues and much more. Servers Alive promptly alerts network administrator when any down time occurs for quick recovery. The network monitoring tool can be configured to your specifications, and it includes a graphical output to analyze key network components. With an efficient tool such as Servers Alive, you can effectively increase network monitoring and efficiency.

Online Advertising Network – to Market Your Products!

August 4th, 2009 admin No comments

Online advertising network helps you to market your products well. A mass coverage of audience is what you’ll achieve with an online network. An advertiser, can run an advertising campaign, with out much cost incurred. If you are looking out to market your products, then, online campaign is the best way to handle your promotions.

The advertising network serves advertisements from its ad server, which responds to a site once a page is called. Drive traffic through the help of three types of online advertising networks, representative network, blind network and targeted network.

Representative network – they represent the publications in their portfolio, allowing a greater transparency for the advertiser. It drives greater traffic, and hence is used by the marketers extensively.
Targeted ad networks: Otherwise known as next generation ads. These work on behavioral or contextual patterns.

Blind networks – ad network:  ad serving technology can deliver instant global visibility for your brand and bring you proven solutions that your business requires to stay ahead in today’s dynamic global market.

Always take benefit of using one dependable marketing source for all of your needs and substantially enhance your traffic in a short span with online impressive & comprehensive suite of end-to-end solutions.

Selecting the right ad network partner can make the difference between a hit and a miss for your campaign or site. Exclusive representation generally generates a higher percentage of revenue sharing, but sometimes results in a smaller percentage of ad inventories being sold. Whereas, in non-exclusive arrangements, publishers may use secondary advertising options to fill the space left unsold by the primary ad networks online. Choose your type of ad network carefully.

You can achieve brand awareness, sell products, or attract new players. Online channel of ad network boasts a large collection of websites likely to be visited by the target demographic. Advertising networks provide a way for media buyers to co-ordinate ad campaigns across dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of sites in an efficient manner. The campaigns often involve running ads over a category (run-of-category) or an entire network (run-of-network). Site-specific buys are not a major emphasis when dealing with advertising networks. In fact, site-specific buys are not even available at some networks, so as not to conflict with in-house sales reps.

Ad networks vary in size and focus. Large ad networks may require premium brands and millions of impressions per month. Small ad networks may accept unbranded sites with thousands of impressions per month.

3 Tips on Using Affiliate Network Marketing to Fund Your MLM Business

August 4th, 2009 admin No comments

Introduction to Affiliate Network Marketing

Have you heard of Ewen Chia? He is the world’s #1 affiliate marketer. Have you wondered how he did it? Today I am going to show you the 3 tips on how you can become a super affiliate network marketing expert so that you can earn this extra income to fund your MLM business. Before I begin, let me show you a short introduction to affiliate network marketing business model.

Affiliate network marketing is the same as affiliate marketing. It’s about promoting other people network marketing information products online. Being an affiliate, there are pros and cons.

1)    Being an affiliate, there is no maintenance required. You don’t have to provide customer support and handle customer complaints and refunds. Your job is to promote it and make sales.

2)    Instead of spending time creating your own products, doing testing, trial and error, you can focus all your time doing marketing, building your list and writing responsive emails.

3)    The disadvantage is that you are focusing on branding the creator name and his products. It goes viral and everyone knows his name and products. You are helping to promote his Brand rather than promoting yourself.

3 Tips on becoming an affiliate network marketing Expert

When I first started out in 2007, I started out becoming an affiliate promoting affiliate network marketing information products. My goal is to build a list of targeted prospects who wants to succeed in network marketing. If you promote an affiliate product that is irrelevant to network marketing, chances is that it will be very difficult to pitch your business opportunity in the long run.

After struggling in network marketing for 5 years trying to build my MLM business, I decided to look for help. I found my mentor. He taught me the 5 secrets to become an affiliate network marketing expert.

1)    The first thing that every affiliate marketer must have is a squeeze page and a thank you page. It is also called the lead capture page. It is to capture your prospects name and email address. Now why do they want to do that? You offer them a free report like an e-book that is relevant to network marketing.

2)    Once you set up your lead capture page, you have to learn to direct traffic to your lead capture page. Traffic generation is the life source of your affiliate marketing campaign. No traffic means no leads and therefore no list to sell your affiliate network marketing products to.

3)    Email marketing. Before you build a list, you need to purchase an auto responder and then create follow up emails to build relationship with your prospects. The number one step when you build your list is to earn your prospects trust. To do that, you need to provide them with quality information about network marketing.

The common mistakes that most affiliate marketer do is to hard sell their prospects. They write hype sales letter instead of writing an informative article to teach their list. Desperation of making quick money will lead to the death of your affiliate network marketing campaign.

3 Crucial Advice about network marketing

Indeed, online prospecting in network marketing is simple and easy. Allow me to give you 3 crucial advice about network marketing.

1)    Online prospecting takes time. Most affiliate marketers rush to make fast money rather on creating an asset by building a responsive list. There is no such thing as a “get rich quick” marketing system. You need to think and write quality email newsletter to build relationship with your list.

2)    Focus on traffic generation. Many affiliate marketers always look for a better affiliate products or pays higher commission rather on focusing on driving traffic to their website or lead capture page. I have seen so many people fall away from the right track and wasted a lot of time instead of driving traffic.

3)    Create a network marketing blog. Set up a network marketing blog and fill it with contents to build relationship with your list. Consistency plays a very important role. You need to be consistent in updating your blog, posting new and fresh content to educate your prospects. Blogging is a very good way to brand yourself as an expert. When your prospects visit your professional blog with great contents, you will instantly gain credibility for yourself.

Conclusion

So we have touch a lot of key topics on how to promote affiliate network marketing products and how to generate extra income to fund your MLM business by building your list. I wish to explain to you more about how to drive traffic to your website or squeeze page and how to write responsive network marketing emails to build relationship with your prospects but it will go on forever.

Remember the advice about network marketing I share with you today. It will speed up your success and make money online to fund your MLM business. Network Marketing Income- Generating Your Prospects 4 Different Ways

August 3rd, 2009 admin No comments

Money. We all start a home business to create that extra cash flow that is going to lead us to our dreams and goals. There are several ways to get prospects to increase your network marketing income. Which are you using and are you open to other ideas? Below are 4 of the ways to gain prospects for your opportunity.

1) Traditional Networking.

While some say this is dead in the water others would not build their networking business any other way. Traditional networking includes things such as talking to your circle of influence and the “three foot rule”.

Your circle of influence- the list of 200 people you know.

Newer network marketers look down on this way of building your business as the phrase “NFL club” or “No Friends Left” club echo in their mind, paralyzing them to speak with the people they know. What many marketers don’t realize is that you are not really looking to recruit these people into your business but you are looking for the people that they know, and the people that they know- networking in the true sense of the word.

Talking to people that know you intimately assists you in honing your question answering skills, lets you work on work presentation, and ultimately builds your business and therefore your network marketing income.

At several Dani Johnson seminars that I attended she asked everyone in the room who had made a list to stand up- several hundred did. She then asked those who had contacted every person on that list to stay standing- about half of the people sat down. Next came who had made money from contacting their whole list- EVERY person remained standing. Finally, who had made six figures in the last 12 months- over 50% of these people stayed standing. This was an exercise that really opened your mind to the possibilities if you just got over your hang ups.

The three foot rule.

Again, newer network marketers tend to frown on the three foot rule as they prefer to let the prospects come to them. But for every person who thinks it doesn’t work there is someone who is making money using this method.

The three foot rule is where you are constantly on the look out for people to prospect. Whether it be in the grocery store, in line at the movies, or sitting next to someone on the plane, you are finding ways to draw the person closest to you into a conversation to see if they have a desire to create an extra income for themselves.

This is a difficult skill to really hone as you must be really on your prospecting game. A major part of the reason that so many people shy away from doing this is because they do not have the right people teaching them. They approach people and put their networking marketing business first, instead connecting with the person and finding out thier hot buttons and needs.

2) Lead generation companies

The second way of creating your network marketing income is through purchasing leads. Many people decide to do this as a way of talking to people who have shown an interest in having their own at home business.

When you purchase leads you can get many different types of leads at lots of different prices from $.10 per lead all the way up to $25.00 a lead. The difference depends on how qualified you want your prospect to be and whether you want your lead to be exclusive to you or not.

Usually you will get information such as name, phone number, email address and additionally may find out a little bit about how much prospects want to spend to start their business and how much network marketing income they would like to make per month.

Proponents of purchasing leads like the fact that they can have an immediate supply of leads to call at any given time without any extra effort of advertising. By having the phone number and email address you can not only call them but also can put them into your auto-responder to stay connected with them over time.

The downside to using lead generation companies is that it can become costly- especially in the beginning when working on your prospecting skills. You also have to be aware of the fact that although people may have requested information they are not always really looking for a home business. You can get go through a lot of people before you really find ones who are not tire kickers.

3) Using a Lead capture Page

Many successful marketers really promote using a lead capture page to create prospects for the following reasons:

-lead exclusivity
-interest in your business is peaked
-better chance of name recognition
-list building

Lead exclusivity is just as it sounds- being the only one to have that lead. When purchasing leads, unless you are paying top dollar, most of the time you are sharing the lead with several other people. This means that just as you are contacting them other people are too. Many people don’t like the competition of this and would rather use the lead capture page knowing that when a prospect fills out their information they are the only people receiving it.

As your squeeze page is directly related to you and your business, when someone opts in to your information you know that you have a higher chance of conversion as they have shown a desire to have more information about that specific business or product that you are promoting.

Building up a connection and trust is key to making sales and increasing your network marketing income. When a person requests your information they have already seen your name and starting that trust process. Once you begin connecting with them whether it be via email or phone your name will click and make the next step in your sales presentation that much easier.

As many career network marketers know having your own list is very important. Countless times stories are shared about losing databases of 1000′s of names when companies shut down or when changing to a new company. By having your own list you are in control of those names and they belong to you. Lists can become huge and therefore great sources of additional income from affiliate products, new product releases from your company, and good ways to also distribute information- just make sure you are following all SPAM laws.

In addition, in using a lead capture page you can actually make money on generating your leads instead of spending money through a funded proposal. This is very attractive to those with a smaller advertising budget.
